Hi guys. I’ve been testing MG2 and MG3 before deciding whether to move ahead - I gave TriplePlay Express a shot but it didn’t work as expected (too many ghost notes and “bleeding” between sensors).
I’m using both MG2 and MG3 as a standalone and routing to a virtual MIDI port so I can then use the virtual MIDI on my Pro Tools settings.
With MG2, both Midiloop and SBVMIDI work smoothly; however, I can’t sort that out with MG3. It simply won’t “stick” to the settings and I can’t select or enable SBVMIDI at all.
I could only find workarounds for Mac in the forum so apologies if that question seems like deja vu.
I use it on win 11 with protools using meta plugin. Works well– also just started testing hex (using a 5.1 input) and it seems to work (using a subsix pickup and a neve 1073opx). Only issue is every time the protools file is saved (or auto saved) the plugin window of the VST instrument hosted inside of midi guitar 3 exits out. Happens with bluecat patchwork as well.
