Don’t always trust what AI is saying! The option of input selections has changed during the beta phase. Have you tried to run MG3 or did you just give up because it was not according the ChatGPT suggestion?

There’s no reason why it shouldn’t work as shown in your screenshot.

i did run mg3 on my ipad. and i think it did work once one my computer.

sometimes cubase does strange things. as you say it looks like my settings are fine. i have to look at the mg3 settings again…..or maybe a setting in my cubes or just reboot my computer.

It has nothing to do with Cubase. It will work but it looks to me that you don’t have the latest Beta version installed (however it works too).
The latest version you find here:

OK.. I’ve updated my plugin…

my plugin control panel window is all flashing when i strum my guitar. but there is no activity in cubase. Am I $hit out of luck spending $200 on this plugin ? I’m desperate at this point.

HOLY POO ! the signal is coming thru NOW… You have saved the day…… now… its not registering the bends. the midi editor doesn’t show it either… there must be some documentation on this on the site.. something a lay person would understand ? in any case, most of my recording will be on non-bendable instruments.. or, i can do pitch blends in the midi editor as i have done before. not a deal breaker.. but if you have any ideas on that issue i would appreciate it..

consider being kind when asking for help. consider some restraint. consider ditching cubase. that is your problem, not mg3.

for cubase help go to their forum. i think you’re right on the edge of bleeding away any desire for anyone here to help you.

We can’t guess what your problem is if you start a post by saying that your MG3 plugin has a different user interface than the one ChatGPT expects.
When the strobe lights in MG3 are flashing, audio is obviously being transmitted via Cubase. Neither MG3 nor Cubase are not working.

If we now would know what exactly you want to do inside Cubase we probably could help.

also it would help to know:

1. why you’ve selected cubase
2. your daw experience level (beginner <> experienced)
3. if mg3 standalone has any issues

for future reference, when you had it working back in december you should have saved that cubase file. and recorded the cubase system config/settings.

if you had done this, it would be a simple matter to return to a working system, rather than having to figure it all out again.
