Is it possible for Midi Guitar 2 to be the Midi input device in Guitar Pro 7? It doesn’t show up in the midi input device list.

it can be done on windows via installing loopMIDI and on macos via a standard virtual midi channel. The standalone then can output midi over that channel, and you can let Guitarpro listen to it as if it were a keyboard.
But we dont recommend to use this: it does not work like you’d want it to work and there will be no accurate tabs anyway since MG doenst recognise which string is played.
