MIDI Guitar 3 foot controller setup

Using a Morningstar MC6 Pro dual locked to 3 Roland DP10 pedals set to continuous control for CC1, CC74, and CC64. The MC6 Pro lets you switch between chains 1,2, and 3 plus out down, oct up, and legato on and off. I have my MG3 chains setup as MPE no bends on chain 1, legacy MIDI with ±2 bends on chain 2, and MPE ±48 bends on chain 3. This lets me do 98% of what I want controlling external DAWs and other software. Hopefully JamO will fix the channel pressure bug with legacy MIDI at some point soon. If anyone is going to NAMM next week, please stop by the Avid booth in the north hall and say hi.

That’s beautiful pedal - someone should manufacture this in one piece. Its interesting with the displays and MIDI 2.0 - we should soon be able to send display information from MG to pedals that support this.

I think I got the Channel Pressure/Aftertouch bug sorted out and an update is coming the next days.

I won’t come for NAMM this year, but love to come and say hi next year

Thanks JamO. Looking forward to the update. A single pedal like this would be very cool. I really prefer the DP-10 pedals over traditional expression pedals as they feel more accurate and spring back. And they are usually much cheaper as well.

that is one neat and tidy setup. so nice to have so much power in such a small footprint.

i also prefer the dp-10 style pedals. there’s really no comparison.
