Any news on when Midi Guitar 3 will be available for iOS?
Hello Thorleif.
Hope you are well. Thanks for your reply. I will be getting back into this as I have a new recording I want to add some parts too.
Best, Jim
Hi there! I have been a MIDI guitar 2 customer of yours for five or six years. I’ve been using it on my old iPhone X on my pedal board and it has worked flawlessly, it’s awesome! I will post a picture. I have been eagerly awaiting your iOS release for MIDI guitar 3! I in live the San Francisco Bay area and I’ve played hundreds of festivals with this rig and have even taken it abroad playing in Western Europe multiple times.
So I just found that you released it. So excited! So I tried to upgrade through the MIDI guitar 2 app, but it didn’t seem to have that option available for me. So I went through the whole process of downloading that test flight app and got everything all logged in and hit your link and was ready for blast off but… I realized that you’re not supporting anything less than iOS 17. I am at the last version of installable software on the iPhone X which is 16.7.12. I am wondering if you can open up the beta or final version to higher versions of iOS 16 as I feel that these phone are still very competent, snappy, and all of that. I have no problem with version 2, even when running it into other MIDI apps.
I have left the Apple ecosystem for my mobiles due to Apple’s inflexibility on which you can and cannot do and install. And I am on the Android platform nowadays.
Let me know your thoughts please. Even if you weren’t able to open it up to lower software versions, I would probably go out and buy a cheap used iPhone with enough power to run your software for my stage rig. Prefibrillably not… Thanks for all that you do! Jay
