When I switch to MonoPhonic mode, there is a lot of noise triggering. Even if I turn down the volume knob of the guitar and even unplug the guitar cable, the situation remains the same. I think it is the background noise generated by the system. The strange thing is that sometimes everything will return to normal without any signs, so I think it is a bug. Polyphonic mode is fine, but I need to play MonoPhonic instruments, Poly is not suitable.
These noises have affected my performance to a certain extent, and I think Gate 0 has the best feel. Unfortunately, I can only rely on luck to encounter a Gate 0 state without noise.
Gate “zero” is probably not what you really want. I personally adjust the gate always to the amount that I don’t get triggered events when I just slide over the three wound lower strings. With that there is still plenty of dynamics.
Do you also experience this with Gate0?
I have experienced the Gate0 mode where everything is normal, everything is good, it is the best feel I want
That sound strange > what type of VST are you using on your DAW track?
Maybe it’s a ground issue of the audio interface?
I am using a VST2 plug-in.
When I unplug my guitar from the audio interface and set the gate to zero I have no signals coming through, just silence.
This sounds like a difficult problem to solve. I’m very frustrated.
So this is indeed a bug on my computer.
Do you have a second interface? I just raised the gain up +20dB, Gate to zero and the guitar connected. Not even then I have any noise.
I tested it on another audio interface, the Focusrite Solo, and the situation remained the same. I currently use the Antelope Zen Quadro
I just tested VST3, same situation.
To me it sounds like some interference to the system.
The same is true for new projects. Even if I choose the onboard sound card, the MonoPhonic mode still has background noise.
Very strange Poly mode everything is normal, someone help me pls
I can confirm that in the monophonic mode noise occurs, but with the gate set to 5% they don’t get through.
Is this a design flaw? I tried opening the gate, but it didn’t feel that comfortable.
