MIDI Guitar 3 - No input signal recognized

I have a problem I’m hoping someone can help me with. I have both MIDI Guitar 2 and 3 on my Mac. Using an iRig interface, MIDI Guitar 2 will recognize an input signal immediately. In MIDI Guitar 3, even though it recognizes the iRig interface and allows me to select it as input and output, there is no input signal. Am I missing a setting somewhere other than audio devices?

This is how the setup in MG3 should look like:

That is how I have it in MIDI Guitar 2 and MIDI Guitar 3. Works fine in 2. No input signal in 3.

Do you have a patch selected with any instrument or at least a empty chain, not just the MIDI output module, which would result in “no sound”?

I do. I’m not sure output is the problem. It’s not recognizing an input signal at all.

Please check if you gave it microphone (ie. audio input) permission, in Mac/Security.
