I’m using Cubase since 2006 (Cubase 3) and do not understand why this is not working for you!
ok… i guess my last option is to send the screenshots to steinberg. is there a little technical paper on MG3, so that they can understand what is happening behind the scenes of the plugin ?
maybe what i know is enough.. .that the audio input is converted to midi which is passed to the instrument track.
my lower bar doesn’t look like yours , but i see the blue bar moving (at the extreme right of my screen shot)
(ok.. she-who-must-be-obeyed just called me for dinner.. will check back later)
Change the input channel of HALion to channel 1 and not any:
Edit:
HALion is a sampler and needs you to specify the MIDI channel for each slot you are occupying.
If you have A1 selected as MIDI port it expects MIDI data on channel 1.
is halion mpe-capable?
No it’s not, but it works with MG3’s MPE output.
HOLY POO ! the signal is coming thru NOW… You have saved the day……
now… its not registering the bends. the midi editor doesn’t show it either… there must be some documentation on this on the site.. something a lay person would understand ?
in any case, most of my recording will be on non-bendable instruments.. or, i can do pitch blends in the midi editor as i have done before. not a deal breaker.. but if you have any ideas on that issue i would appreciate it..
