I was using Midi Guitar successfully in many production- and live setups. It is an amazing piece of software. Absolutely reliable and easy to use.
During the past days I checked Midi Guitar 3 and even more amazed to see new functionalities like “mute open strings” and all the additional connections that can be made via midi protocol.
But there are two things that I miss very much:
- Support for other tunings than the standard tuning. Actually I wanna be free in my choice of tunings. Specially when I look at my baritone guitar.
- Ability to pick a selection of plugins
As is now, I have to scroll through hundreds of plugins (e.g. I own one of the bigger collections of wave plugins) when I wanna look for the some plugins which make sense in Midi Guitar 3. Actually I am using never more than 5-7 plugins in combination with MG3. It would be nice to able to make my own selection, e.g. marked or tagged as “favourite”, so I can rearrange my plugin combination quicky as I need to do so.
Beside all this, I am very happy to see the fantastic development, and on top, I could upgrade for free which is a true gift. Many thanks for that and please, consider my wishes as it makes great sense for many others.
