Midi Machines sometimes won't show up

Sometimes the Midi Machines does not show the list of tools - when clicking om “MIDI Machines” I get “MIDI Machines”, and nothing happens when I click on it. It’s the same thing in Standalone and as a AU plug-in.

Any ideas?

i don’t know why it happens, but sometimes when starting, instead of the preset name, mg3 says ‘scan plugins’. if i don’t click there i don’t see the midi machines.

Yes, I think it currently happens if you close it down when it’s at a “new” patch. You can click at the top to scan. Save a patch and it should be working normally.

There were some technical reasons for this strange behaviour, related to not scanning dodgy plugins that makes it crash at startup, but I forgot the details. Will look into it.
