Model D synth. Can't get presets to work

Playing with the Model D synth. I can find the presets and select one. When I use the app piano keyboard it plays notes using the preset, but when I play my guitar it is always the same sound which I assume is a default sound.

Any thoughts about what I have to do to get the guitar notes to use the preset I’ve selected?

Not sure what was going on yesterday but when I brought everything up today it worked fine. I must have done something screwy yesterday. So please disregard this post.
