Multiple Kontakt VSTs problem

Updated and still the same issues.
MG 3 says theres no signal

It works for a couple of seconds…
Audio interface

Scanning VST;s, found my content but they don´t show up

Press show details, I get this

Still no VST;s and Kontakt 7 is missing

I guess we can make it more forgiving about the audio interface, but something is dodgy about your ASIO driver or maybe the computer isn’t fast enough to process the small audio buffers. Does your system work with audio software / daws, also under load? And why do you use ASIO4All?

The VST problem seems entirely something on my side. Did it work in the previous version?

Thanks.

I notice that you’re using unofficial versions of Kontakt 5.
Is your version of Kontak 7 official? This could be the reason why it’s not recognised.

Maybe it’s because they are all called “Kontakt”?
If there are more plugins with the same name, it will only use one of them. We need to add more options for the plugin scanner, and the ability to select and disable individual plugins.

In my case, all versions of Kontakt are present and functional. (v5,v6,v7).

FYI, they are all named differently and co-exist in my plugin folders.

v5 is Kontakt5.dll, Kontakt5 8out.dll, Kontakt5 16out.dll
v6 is Kontakt.dll, Kontakt.vst3 (go figure)
v7 is Kontakt7.vst3
v8 is Kontakt8.vst3

And it works for you, @TheMaartian?

We’ll make an update dedicated to managing plugins when we get time.

@MoJaz, if you go to settings => data folder => Plugins, do you see all the Kontakt plugins? If yes, if you open one of those txt files, does it have some text inside?

Yes, all versions I mentioned (that I have installed) are available. One thing I noticed with Kontakt v6 is that only the VST3 version is available, so I’m assuming that MG3 only offers the VST3 for those plugins where both the VST2 (.dll) and VST3 (.vst3) versions are installed.
