The feature I most want is the ability to output the MIDI data/notes so I can manipulate them in my DAW. I’m a bit confused that this isn’t available, since it seems obvious to me, so maybe I’m just not seeing the option.
Since I’m unlikely to get a fully satisfying MIDI performance of, for example, a violin in a live performance for a recording, I would like the ability to futz with it in the piano roll in my DAW. Thank you!
if you’re running mg3 you need to put a ‘midi output’ module on one of the tracks to send midi out.
mg3 can definitely provide exactly what you’re asking for. routing things in your daw is usually easy, give us some info (which one, which version, which os) for add’l troubleshooting.
