Hello, when I use the sustain module and choose the piano sustain, it stops sending midi to the virtual instrument after I play more than 10 consecutive notes. Is it meant to work like that?
With MG3 Win Beta 3.0.55 I can not reproduce your finding. With pressed pedal it keeps sustaining, until it’s released, with no note amount limit. I tested this with a piano VST in standalone mode.
I’ll see if I can record footage. One thing that could be but I haven’t tested is because of my hard drive. I’m on a Mac.
I just tried it on my Mac (MG3 3.0.60) and have no issues there as well.
I’m using Omnisphere and I have the library installed on a hard drive. It doesn’t happen with infinite sustain.
It happens on pigments aswell
Just tried the “Piano-Like Sustain” using Equator 2 > no problems (I don’t have Omnisphere or Pigments).
Please test in MG3 standalone and report back your findings. Which release version are you using?
It doesn’t happen in standalone. I tried opening an instrument from within mg and also sending the midi output to Logic Pro virtual in. I think it’s a logic issue when I open inside the daw. I’m using the latest mg3 version.
When I open it inside of logic it doesn’t happen if I specify midi guitar to send the midi output to logic virtual in. But it happens when I just use the default virtual midi output.
