I have been thinking about pitch-to-MIDI technology lately and what it might take to build something that does even 1% of what MIDI Guitar 3 can.
So I dug up a patch I started making ages ago in Max and tried to build a very basic pitch-to-MIDI patch. It kind of works, but sounds pretty awful.
Have any forum members built anything like this in Max or PD?
I plugged back into MG3 Hex after this failed experiment and all I can say is, @JamO, you’re doing some amazing work!
