I would like to make a request to have the low note setting on MG3 standard to go down one more half step to B1. I have a 7 string guitar that I can’t put a multichannel pickup on and would like to trigger chords with my open low b string of possible. Thanks for listening.
Hi @digimidi, that’s definitely a good idea; 6-string baritone guitars tuned to B1 E A d g h would also benefit from this. Also, there are baritone guitars tuned to A1 D G c e a. Maybe that tuning should become the default in MG3?
Same here. I have a 7-string guitar, and I haven’t been able to find a removable multichannel pickup on the market that can convert each string to MIDI. The only ones I’ve found require modifying the guitar body.
Also, MIDI Guitar 3 doesn’t allow me to use B1 or A1. The lowest note it detects is C2. That’s only half a step missing if I tune down to B1, or a step and a half if I tune to A1, so it’s not a huge deal, but it’s still a bit of a shame that those notes can’t be detected.
