Now that I have my bass working with MG3 Hex, it would be really great to save the string note settings on a per patch basis. It is a bit of a pain to have to switch those settings when changing between guitar and bass. Plus I also plan on setting up a guitar with a different open tuning. Hopefully that will be something easy (or at least not extremely difficult 
) to implement. Thanks for listening.

I guess we don’t want it pr patch, but somehow have two global sets?
If tunings are saved with patches you will have to redo the patches if you change tuning… that’s not generally what we want.
Or multiple global sets. I would probably need at least 3 for near term, 5 in the future (standard E guitar, 5 string bass, Open D guitar, Drop D guitar, Baritone). And not sure if this would be possible if adding these presets to also include overall dynamics, gain, and gate settings?

I have had great fun playing midi Hex Bass this afternoon – this is a game changer for Bass input I think (just as guitar Hex is).
I also use multiple guitar tunings (add DADGAD to the above for one), so some way to store/recall these would be useful.
I do note that you can play in different tunings so long as the lowest bass note (open string) per string is set accordingly, I could even play guitar with the midi bass settings. I guess there maybe some penalty in latency or what is the penalty?
Also if we are moving this way, would it make more sense for the string gain settings to be stored with tunings as it’s possible (as I do) that I use different guitars with different tunings and each with it’s Hex pickup?
