Setting for Playing Bass VST with 6 Sting Guitar

Hi. Appologies if this has been covered before. Im new and Beta testing MG3.

Im trying to figure out what MG3 settings I should be using in order to play a regular Bass Guitar VST (Eg…EZBass or Kontakt Basses). I’ve been tweeking for a long time and Im having difficulty…

I have it in Monophonic Mode. Its kinda working. However, MG3 is not picking up every pick stroke. Its missing many pick strokes, especially when playing a multiple picks of a single note… Any advice would be much appreciated.

Check your gain and gate settings.

try playing the bass line an octave higher than you’ve been playing it, and transpose down two octaves instead of one.

is your tone all the way up? are you using the bridge pickup?

is the performance better with other vst’s?

if you post an audio snippet of the raw guitar input that would be helpful.
