Suddenly MG3 not seeing my interface

I’ve been using the 3.64 version for a while, but today I started getting the message “Not receiving any audio from the audio interface…”

My interface is the Axe I/O. I’ve rebooted it and my MBP (M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.6.1) several times in various orders. I upgraded to 3.66, but still getting this message. If I select the MBP internal mic as the inout, I still get the message! What am I missing?

Further note: I also use Gig Performer on the same MBP, and it is getting audio just fine from the interface, as is MG 2.2.1 if I open that.

maybe your mac updated itself and reset mic permissions for mg3?

Check that the correct tracker is selected (MG3). If you have the Hex tracker active and no 6 or 8 CH input you will receive this message.

I can’t even get to that screen - without getting input from the interface, all i can get to is interface settings, which gets me the same message no matter what input I choose. Thank you, though.

You can try if the “Command & Comma” shortcut reacts that will open the audio setting window.
