Using a Mac /Sonoma, I get no sound into MIDI Guitar 3 using a Scarlett interface at 256/44.1
Thank you to everyone interested and offering help!
Its very much appreciated and I apologise for not being able to give this enough attention just yet. We will get back to MIDI Cello soon (after MG3.0.48 settles in the coming days), with a new Cello update and more thoughts on its development and how to best help us out.
I was trying to pull in a recorded violoncello solo into Logic Pro using MIDI FX on an audio channel and push this to Kontakt Stradivari Cello
MIDI Cello doesn’t seem to show up in MIDIF FX after installing it (Apple Silicon M3 Max), should it have?
EDIT: Ah restart Logic Audio FX on the captured audio had to drop the input buffer size - all good!
Anxious to try MIDI Cello & VIolin BETA on Windows. I play acoustic,5-string Fourness, and 6-string Jordan electrics, and 5-string Yamaha octave violins (chin cello). Used to own a Roland GR-55 guitar synth. But violin tracking was, for me, not usable. Love using the MB3 beta with guitar: tracking, latency, ease-of-use, and integration with Kontakt 7, and integration with Bitwig. Hoping MIDI Cello & VIolin BETA will offer a similar experience. Thanks for your outstanding creative efforts!
Violin beginner here using MacOS / Logic. Let me know how I can help the testing efforts!
I’m a classically trained violinist with a strong interest in techno production with modular synthesizers and Ableton. Would love to try out the midi cello with my violin. Is there a way to become a beta tester? I’m using M1 Mac with Ableton, I’m a developer by profession and a modular synth enthusiast so technically I’m quite savvy I’d say.
Edit: Ahh, nevermind. Found the latest download link on the beta product page that seems to contain the cello product as well
