Hello, I have been trailing MD-2. I’m keen to buy the product but before that I trying to access a vst upright Bass sound from the likes of NI Kontakt or UVI player and this would be the main reason for my purchase. I can’t figure out how to load Kontakt or UVI sound despite them appearing in the MD-2 vst scanned folder? Is this option only available in the paid up version? I’m currently trialing MD-2 as a plugin in studio one.
I am going to assume you mean MG2, and you find any of the scanned instrument instruments if you click here:
A list of all availible instruments will appear and you can choose Kontakt or the UVI workstation from there:
It should not be a problem to use the trial version here, it just has this button to press popping up every now and then.
Try to use MG2 in standalone first, outside of any DAW, until you have a basic idea of how it works. It is way more problematic to troubleshoot from within a DAW, in my experience.

Many thanks for the reply… I can now see Kontakt in the instrument select window. it was not obvious to me that by clicking on the last column it would advance the window to the next page!
