Transposer

Hi,the tranposer doesn’t seem to work in Version 3.0.68.

Just to be clear, you’re talking about that version on iOS, correct? (I’m not aware of a .68 on anything but iOS, yet. )

I’ve been using the Transposer on iOS 3.0.68 for a few days now, and it seems to be functioning for me in transposing both MIDI notes and audio notes–at least for 8va, 8vb, and fifth above. What exactly is it that isn’t working for you?

I am curious to know which version of the Transposer module you’re using–the one available within the Guitar Mods folder, or the one in the Pitch folder? I’ve just started looking at the Guitar Mods stuff briefly, and I noticed that the Transposer from the Guitar Mods > Mod Effects folder does seem to behave a bit differently than the one from the Pitch folder–specifically, it seems not to work on a raw audio signal, but it works fine on a Mod if you add that. (I started by adding a Mod and the Transposer Mod Effect, and then removing the Mod from the chain, but got no sound output until I also removed the Transposer.)

Is it possible this is at play in your case?

Hello, thank you for your reply. - I’m using the transposer from the “Pitch” folder, but no signal is being transposed. You can hear a slight increase in the signal, but that’s all. The transposer is completely non-functional for me. It worked perfectly in the last version.

Could you please provide some more information on this?

I just loaded MIDI Guitar 3.0.68 (iOS) as an AUv3 in AUM and the Transposer module in the INTRODUCTION preset (audio domain) is functioning as expected. I also tested it in the MIDI GUITAR MINI preset (MIDI domain) and it is also functioning as expected.

I can’t detect any issue.
