Trying to get started - but no sound

Samenissue with the Scarlette Solo, dreadful kit

Had a similar problem with the scarlet solo, downloading new drivers from their website sorted the problem

I am using a Scarlett 2i4 and i also don’t have sound, only coming from my computer. A couple of years ago i tried this set up and it worked great. So i have no idea what is going wrong.

With this “problem” description it is hard to help. Some more details (what would you like to achieve / how is your set-up) would be great.

Set up: Guitar into Scarlett, which is USB connected to laptop. Like i did a couple of years ago. And the Scarlett is audio out into my mixer.
I want to play several vst synths with my guitar, both with my DAW as well without it.

Start with the standalone version of MG2/3. Make the correct configuration(s) under the audio setup in MG2/3 (input / output channels / buffer size). Set the interfaces direct monitoring to off or DAW if applicable. If all is set correctly you should hear the raw guitar signal in MG2/3. After this you can insert VST’s.
For DAW operation (assuming that you know how to set up your interface with the DAW) you just need to insert the MG2/3 plugin into some audio track.

if you see activity on the screen, but hear nothing check the individual channel and master volume sliders.

if you see no activity, check your asio setup. post a screencap here.

it’s probably better to begin with mg3, but regardless, let us know which version you are using.

Guys, (and girls of course) i have no idea wht i have done but i have sound playing my guitar :star_struck:
I tried using Reaper and i started to f around with the internal sounds of Midi Guitar and that worked. So i continued with my guitar and voilá it worked.
Thanks all for your time and for those who still messing around with no luck, there is hope for you.
