Unable to open amps or cabinets

When I attempt to load the Neural Amp or Cabinet IR modules i get a finder window displayed instead.

Select a .nam file to load as instructed.

Thanks Luke. I thought that but when I search my mac for .nam I get this list which doesn’t seem to contain an appropriate file.

I’m pretty sure that there are no .nam files bundled with MG3 by default, but you should be able to source them from a variety of places, just like reverbs and cabinet IRs.

I haven’t really gone down that path myself, since I’m slightly invested in the TONEX ecosystem instead, but I think the question is a good one: for anyone in this “commentariat” who does use NAM files for amp sounds: where do you like to go to source amp, cab/IR, and/or reverb files for your use?

You can download .nam files from the TONE3000 site. Place them wherever you like and then direct your search to the folder that contains them.
