[ UPDATE ] Pitch Bend - EZBass Fretless (win10)

MG2 + Testing Toontrack EZBass fretless
What are some ways to trouble shoot pitch bend?
current results:
Disabled = will bend half step and it sounds like a freted transition, not a slide.
all other settings do not bend.

Toontrack Support
“Pitch values can be edited in the EZbass grid editor from -1.0 to 1.0. There is no way to manually configure the range of the pitch bend editor in EZbass.”

Hi @sadicus! Match pitch bend ranges for MIDI Guitar 2 and EZBass. In this case, it is easy since EZbass seems to have only the option of PB range 2 available. I can’t find any place to change that at a first quick look. That in itself is crazy though since it also means you can¨t slide longer than a whole note. But if you just set your MG2 to Enabled (Range 2) you can use bends as slides.
Any physical sliding you do on your fretboard will of course trigger new notes without the slide effect since the MIDI guitar software (only) translate pitches. Your finger moving over a fret thus makes for a distinct change in note value.
I used Upright Bass for checking this out, but I believe there to be no difference from the fretless bass in this case.
