Hello, just bought and started with MG2.
Downloaded Ample Bass P plugin, including their sample library. Scanned through MG2: everything OK. I see the MIDI writing in MG2. But nothing seems to send to the plug-in. So no sound what’s so ever. I use ‘Midi Monitor’ and ‘Ample VST’ as settings. All gains checked I/O tried the trial error way ;-). I record through UA Apollo interface.
Any ideas that can help me forward? Thanks in advance!
By the way: does not work in standalone, but neither in AU (Logic Pro). Other software instruments do in both ways.
Secondary info: I migrated towards Ample Bass P because it’s impossible to get a good result with ‘Bass Studio AU’ software instrument that follows the monitored MG2 track. There is throughput there indeed, but it crackles and rattles, eventhough all levels are checked and none are clipping.
I just downloaded the Ample Bass P and I have no probelm getting either of the ABP VST or the AU to work in MG2 in standalone. Ia lso tested the ABP lite for good measure. Everything works as expected.
So I tested setting up in Logic Pro as well: no issues. Is this how you set up there as well?

Ample Bass P does not even work in Rectangles standalone. So I will search at Support Ample Sound.
Keep you updated, but it won’t be a MG2 problem I guess.
Do you have just this one plugin, or is this the case for more of the Ample Sound stuff. I have a couple, and I have had no such problems. I vaugly remember having a strange issue with an Ample plugin in Logic with another audio interface though. So if you have a backup (another brand is best) you could try that.
