What do I need to plug guitar to MG2 on Windows 10

I want to try out MG2 application on my Windows 10 Laptop. How do I plug my guitar into my Windows 10 laptop? Where do I start?

  1. You need at least an usb audio interface ( like shown in this list here https://www.thomann.de/intl/usb_audio_interfaces.html)
  2. On windows you need to have an ASIO driver installed. If your interface hasn’t got its own ASIO driver, use the one from asio4all.com

The PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 is a good choice. Win10 ASIO driver is stable, and pretty low latency. $99.95 at Amazon and others. It’s solidly built, and comes with Studio One Artist ($100 list) and a bunch of very nice plugins. I’ve been happily using the AudioBox 44VSL for years.
