WIDI as audio input to MG

Has anyone tried using a WIDI Mate to take audio from a hex pickup’s DIN output and send that signal to MIDI Guitar 2 or 3 (iOS version)

WIDI Uhost transmits MIDI. No audio involved.

for a least a few, this is the holy grail. 13pin to wireless midi, all onboard the guitar.

i would forego mpe for this. for that matter, wireless hex mpe is probably not possible.

but imagine wireless midi 1.0 out (with mg3hex accuracy) from your gk. no pc required. just plug the receiver into your hardware synth of choice and start playing.

if such a product could be priced ~ $500 i bet it would compete well against the boss boxes. the software/development would be the primary cost, the components probably can be had for < $100 in quantity.
