MIDI Bass AND MG2
No cable connected and it’s making sounds like a marimba on crack! How to reduce internal cross talk?
It’s picking up noise from typing on the keyboard, noise form doing nothing at all. tested all the 1/4 cables and now don’t even have it plugged in.
MOTU> Computer> MIDI Bass = noise
No cables connected? Then its probably using your laptop/computer microphone? It will track whatever it hears, so check the “interface” section.
It is one the reason why I deactivate the internal soundcard.
Good suggestions to be sure.
Not sure yet what caused the noise but a complete restart fixed the issue for now,
Ive used the same PC and Hardware for many years and the signal chain should be silent even with hard ware effects. So when something like this happens it really is an anomaly.
