Bend Range 2 UP ONLY

I was messing with SurgeXT an excellent FREE synth. The bend range is selectable for both up AND down. Let’s face it…every vibrato on guitar is a bit sharp so we really don’t need the DOWN bend at all. I no longer get those annoying tailing-downward-bendy notes after I mute the strings once bend range on Surge to DOWN - zero and UP - 2. .

If that is something you like, perhaps you would like the Bend Attack script as well, for that same functionality more generally?

Bend Attack V3 ( postpone bending at note start, restrict to upward bends option )

Postpone bending at note start helps for more natural sound for some instruments: if you play a fast arpeggio, you might want to have the notes “on the spot” and not a bit detuned. Also works for keeping a keyboard instrument a keyboard instrument in sound, but still do bends… 3 Knobs: Bend attack ms - sets the length of the bend attack in milliseconds method - you can choose between switching on the bend after the bend attack, or fading in the bend gradually via the “ease in” setting. Here you have a “Bends up only” option that I like to use on all instruments that otherwise sound unnecessarily flimsy. Acoustic (virtual) guitar for instance. Could be worth checking out?
