Gig Performer 5 with MG3 Hex

Set up; Godin Multiac spectrum steel SA > breakout cable 6 separate strings into > motu ultralight 5 > minimac m4 > gigperformer > jamorigin …. Chose midi guitar hex and the wiringblock in gigperformer shows 4 stereo and a midi in and out. Lookin for 6 mono to use hex. Display is also telling no hex? Any advice on how to solve this?

Setting up MG3 Hex multichannel I/O in Gig Performer 5

The solution may be obvious to some, but when using MG3 Hex with Gig Performer 5 (GP5), I experienced an “issue” with crossed audio channels while using Surround 7.1 to get 8 inouts. You assume but I have no idea what you mean . I have a drop-down channel and bus layout where I can see a few options. Should I choose 7.0 surround?

My only assumption was that you can read It’s all in the post I linked above.

You won’t see hex there because it has nothing to do with GP5’s way of managing channels.

Choose 4th Order Ambisonics and adjust your visible channels accordingly.

Once you feed the audio channels in correctly, I’m sure your “no hex input” detected issue will resolve.
