Ok,I’ll reference some of you ideas here:
The addition of a somewhat humanised vibrato for a lively tone should perhaps be made possible for the guitar tone processed with pitch correction/autotune.
The solution could be used as a continius or (multipoint) trigger controller. Possibly in combination with a freeze function for audio itself or just bending.
The solution as a bending controller with simultaneous live guitar audio output (without original audio bending) is particularly useful where you can musically do without bending, e.…
Would it be practical if MG3 had a little harmoniser that could do the following:
when a single note is played: Optionally select the third and/or the fifth/second/seventh/octave within a scale
optionally ‘bloom’ the chord step by step with midi controller/internal control (e.g. bending, strike)
optionally add a new audio or MIDI sound for each pitch using the controller (as described under 2.), e.g. a brass section: root note trombone, the third a horn, the fifth a trumpet or a saxopho…
It’s a little terse to read but im sure you are onto something. I’ll dig in once I get more time!
I’ll just make a first baby step by making a bend modulator - ie. make “bending being able to work like a foot pedal”. That can be used for all sorts of things.
