M.G 2 in Studio One V.6

Hi people, does anyone have any idea on M.G.2 working in Studio One V.6.???—I get an error thrown up every-time I drag M.G.2 into the audio track error says —cannot verify Vendor ---- the VST shows up in Studio One Browser–so it must be installed correctly–but why the error ??? --can anyone help with this please. many thanks.

I forgot to include in my post —I have M.G 2 installed on a Mid 2011 Mac ,the O.S is 13.7.1 Ventura

I have downloaded the version for Mac ()Monterey OS 12.7.1|. MIDI Guitar 2 works as a standalone but not wth in Logic pro 10.4.8. It says : MIDI guitar 2.component not opened because developer cannot be verified. What can I do to bypass this? Thank you in advance

Hi, I’ve not tried it in Logic as I tend to use Studio One a hell of a lot more----but this is what I did to get S-1 to accept M.G.2 —I went into apple system settings —under Privacy & Security —scroll all the way downn—you will see —Allow Applications Downloads --App Store–Identified Developers /then Details ----click details—it will show M.G 2----click allow anyway----In Logic under settings you may have something similar----you want to allow your computer to accept M.G.2—the wording in Logic might be different to Studio One but the end result is the same —try that.Good luck

It has nothing to do with any specific DAW; it’s a macOS system-level “security” issue.

Open System Settings and select Privacy & Security from the list. If you tried opening the app, select “Open Anyway” from the settings to start it. Alternatively, Ctrl-click on the app in the Finder and select Open to make your computer trust the app.
