i need to unpack some tools and parts, including an ubertar pickup. if time allows i’ll put it in both of the existing cavities and record a few bits.
without getting too out there, it is a joyful thing to play phat bass synth sounds with abandon on a piccolo bass. the latency with standard strings requires much more precision and i end up thinking instead of playing.
another really fine thing is prehm’s ‘unconventional’ trick. it could well be the most responsive bass synth of all time.
