Wil five-string (high-c) bass with a pitch-shifter work?

I was wondering if anyone had any idea whether the tracking and latency and random oddball harmonics you can get with harmonizers will work at all with this.

Update: I heard about the Kilohearts update and the free Snap Heap plugin that includes a ton of freebies, including a free pitch shifter. I have just tried this new pitch shifter with my 5-string EUB with MIDI Bass. I’m attaching a video. I’m using Cubase as a host in this example. In MIDI Bass I’m using the JX 10 Wobble Bass preset just because. I have the transposer active in the MIDI FX at +7. I’m using the Kilohearts pitch Shifter at +5 with the grain size at 72.4 and compensation on High. …
