Thanks for sending the link.
So I downloaded MG 3. Seeing and hearing guitar signal going into the app but do not see the Quad cortex interface option in audio I/O settings.
Just an error message, " Not receiving any audio from audio interface’
Error message went away, but only getting guitar signal, no synth sounds, and the audio interface is not showing in settings in MG3
And you won’t see a device name even if it’s detected. Perhaps that seems like a shortcoming of the beta version but the thing is that iOS can only detect/register one interface at a time anyway (the last one connected). But assuming the QC is actually connected, the ports are selectable.
But if the device is still not connecting, you’re going to need to look at your cables and possible power issues. It seems we verified that the mic works with MG2/3 so there must be something happening with the points of connections. This, however, doesn’t explain why you can use the QC with GB.
Synth sounds should play back through your QC. Can you see any signal in the QC meters if you manually trigger a synth via the keyboard in MG2/3?
You don’t have any channels muted or a control pedal that needs to catch up with the device or anything?
I am now getting synth sounds but not from my speakers. Only from iPad. audio source
Only guitar signal coming out of my speakers
Onboard keyboard is not sending to interface
No channels are muted
Also, all interface midi settings are correct and no controllers are on
My guitar is triggering the synth inside MG3 but not my other synth apps outside of that
Getting message in MG3 your audio interface sending large irregular audio buffers causing … rest of text gets cut off
Are there any buffer setting for the QC onboard the hardware itself?
These are the audio settings with the Axe-Fx II driving MG3 – Ch. 3 input is the D.I. and the processed amp/fx path is handled independently in the Axe-Fx II. Note, setting an interface exclusively for input will not work on iOS. I mentioned info about this earlier.
I had no problems until I tried to connect a second interface simultaneoulsy at which point I got some weird message (also cut off, so unreadable).
Thanks.
I got it working it seems but then synth sound goes away. I see the audio channel selections. My guitar is triggering the internal keyboard in MG3 but not sounds or keyboard in my external synth apps
Not seeing any USB I/O levels showing on my meters on interface
So I have MG3 working. I had a question and I am not clear if there is another main support page I should be using. I have some synths by audiokit , but one of them is not showing up in scanned instruments. Is there something I can do to get it to show.?
Thanks
And what was the issue in the end?
However, you will find users around here that help out with queries on a more regular basis.
Regarding Audiokit, is the synth AUv3? MG3 only scans AUv3 synths. If the synth only supports Inter-App Audio (deprecated by Apple some years ago) you’ll need to run it in parallel and send virtual MIDI to it. AFAIK, only the “King of…” plugins from Audiokit are AUv3. But search and/or ask here and on the Loopy Pro forum and you’ll surely find the answer you’re looking for.
Thanks. I believe it was just setting the correct outputs for the interface and in MG3 then it worked.
I tthought Synth one was before AUv3. So I thought I had Virtual Midi out set in MG3 but still not able to trigger the sounds and internal keyboard in Synth One. Where and how do I set Virtual midi out in MG3? Thanks
